Already the reservation by telephone was incredibly nice, so that I was even more looking forward to the evening at the Birkenhof. And the anticipation was worth it ... Very nice ambience, the food is awesome (it's true, "Mama" makes such a delicious sour cream 😉) I would particularly like to mention the extremely attentive and friendly team. I've rarely (or never at all) experienced something like this. THANK YOU very much that you enriched the evening with your kind! I'm looking forward to my next visit to the Birkenhof 👍🌹

This is how you go not with guests. Table in the back room (nine people) ordered and promised. Came, table was occupied. Boss very arrogant, flimsy excuses. She assigned us a table in the front area (pub ambience). You speak of upscale gastronomy, unfortunately only concerns the prices. Blank table, not set. Cutlery was placed on a plate with paper napkins for us. No go !!! A reserved table in fourteen days was also canceled in writing !!!! Food was good. Will never enter this restaurant again.

First of all thanks for your hospitality and the good service. We had a fun evening with them. And the food was delicious. Starting with the delicious bread and the dip, the delicious pumpkin soup, the crisp salad with tasty dressing and the many main courses to the dessert. Everything was delicious and fresh 😊. The point deduction is really only because of the size of the portions. The amount of side dishes was more than enough, but the meat portion was definitely too small. 3 small pig medalions I manage as a bad eater. Nevertheless, their restaurant is absolutely recommendable.

Have been there for a long time now. Nothing has changed ... still awesome food. 😊 Through and through delicious food and friendly service. That my friend got her "medium" ordered Rib Eye bloody was a bit stupid. However, was promptly corrected without further questions and a delicious dessert served as compensation to the house. This is good service. Always my pleasure. Very very much to be recommended. 👌👌👌

Rustic atmosphere with a large selection of steaks, spare ribs, but also variations with pork tenderloin. Priced already in the upscale area, side dishes predominantly only for an extra charge. Qualitatively very good. Staff friendly but not exactly fast.

We recommend ! Food super delicious ... steak to the point! Service extremely nice and courteous! Praise to the cook! The salad with honey dressing was a poem ... My son had ribs and my wife had pork fillet pieces. The only drawback are the small portions for a lot of money. Everything has to be ordered and paid for separately. Approximately 1 hour waiting time until the food finally came was not the best. I'm in the Düsseldorfer Hof in Kassel near Kostas for the same quality with a lot more on my plate 30 € cheaper. Just a little note! Will we come back? I do not think so !
